The Weekend before Thanks Giving!

After frogging the beatnik, I casted on a new project the same day and Levenwick is the project I chose. It is a very easy straight forward project and I have knitted till the waist line of the body. I enjoy making the reverse stockinette rows very much. I really hope I can finish this jacket by the end of this month.

Finishing the 5th ball of yarn...

Kristin from The Brooklyn Knitting Podcast PM me a week ago and she wanted to do an interview with me. Of course I said yes and I had some fun with the questions she sets! It is very nice of her to give me this chance to have some shawls featured on her blog. The interview article is now up on her site, please feel free to hop in if you have some time!

More yarn arrived and joined my stash this week. I ordered few skein of Sundara Fingering Merino Cashmere at the 2nd of September during their sales and I only found out that they were dyed to order 10 days after I placed the order. I was perfectly ok with that and waiting patiently for the yarn. But then, I received an email from Sundara 6 weeks after that telling me that they have issue getting the fingering merino cashmere base from the supplier and the order can only be shipped in another month. I was kinda upset and disappointed to be honest. But for the yummilicious good quality yarn, I can hang on there for another month! Anyway, I got double dose surprises the same day. My Sundara order and Brooklyn Tweed LOFT arrived the same afternoon and I had fun tearing off the box, squeezing and sniffing the yarn!

The Sundara FMS are amazingly soft and GORGEOUS! I really really love them and I don’t know what I am going to do with them yet. For the LOFT, they are lovely and not tightly twisted in a skein and I will make a shawl with the red colorway, Long John soon. I can’t keep my promise on the yarn diet, I have been bad therefore I don’t think Santa Claus will give me a big gift this year.

How about you? Do you need want some beautiful yarn? Either getting it for yourself or friends! Well, I am destashing some yarn in this post. The listed price include first class shipping with delivery confirmation within the States. Please email me at kitman123@hotmail.com if you are interested and I will give you my paypal account for the payment. 🙂 Of course the shipping cost will be decreased if you got few skeins together.
