Test Knit with free yarn! Anyone?

I am honoured to be offered to test knit Mira’s hand dyed yarn some times ago and I made Thorn out of a skein of the La Jolla in colorway Grey Onyx that Mira sent me. La Jolla is a fingering weight yarn that comes in skein with 400yard. Mira hand dyes beautiful yarn and sells them at few local yarn shop at her area. Baah! yarn just had a trunk show at the Yarning for You at San Marcos and seem like many knitters had a blast getting themselves some beautiful yarn. Doodle Bug and Knit Culture are two online yarn shop that actually carry Baah! La Jolla yarn too.

Wonderful Trunk show at Yarning for You!

Beautiful Yarn Stash!!!

Thorn is at the moment being test knitted and I would like to have a little fun here with everyone. I will pick 2 more test knitters from my blog readers to test knit Thorn for me. You will be provided a skein of Baah! La Jolla yarn by Mira to test knit a small size of Thorn. Test knitters have to be familiar with chart because there is only chart available for the test knit version.

You just have to leave a random comment in this post with email address included and I will draw names on midnight of this coming Friday. 2 names will be drawn and I will email you to get your mailing address. Mira will then ship the La Jolla yarn to you. Not complicated at all right?

Test knitters have a whole 3 weeks to complete the small size of shawl. Please only leave a comment if you could commit~ I can’t wait to get this test knit started! The more test knitters the merrier~ Yay!

  1. I would love the opportunity to test this shawl, can’t wait to knit one of your patterns. I am almost finished, just 30 more rows, with my current shawl, Windsbraut Padua by Monika Eckert (Wollklabauter)

  2. I would love to test knit for you. I’ve already knit a couple of your shawls — I must really love charts — and have been contemplating which to do next. Filled in my email address on this form, so you should have it. Thanks.

  3. I infinitely prefer chart knitting to written-out instructions. I know plenty of other people feel otherwise. I cannot begin to understand how their minds work. They have a set of skills I do not have. A chart is an illustration of one’s ultimate goal. What could be simpler?

  4. Congratulations to Kitman who outdid herself with Thorn!! I am so excited to work with her and I look forward to find out who will have the opportunity to test knit Thorn and work with Baah, La Jolla. Good luck to all!!
