This is the last weekend before school starts and I can imagine many moms are busy preparing for this. To be honest, I  am not ready for the school zone traffic at all but I guess most moms are very ready to have their kids to be back to school so they can have their time back to do something they like, probably like knitting?

John and I went to Rosanne’s house for Gloria’s birthday party and we had some good time chilling out at the back yard, seeing the kids swimming, dogs playing. Summer is hot here and we dint stay out too long. Spending time with family is great. I am really glad that John’s family (my family) are all so easy to get along with. They are nice person to be around.

I tried a new beer at the party and it was real refreshing. It is Shiner Ruby Redbird. It tastes very much like Shandy back home. It is like the mixture of beer and sprite. Very fruity and refreshing! It is just so right for summer! Good beer! And guess what little gift Rosanne got me, a little cute voodoo pumpkin head doll key chain! It is so Halloween isn’t it?! It is not even September yet but you can see many Halloween stuffs selling in the mall. But obviously, time passes by much faster from September onward. I wish to smell Winter in the air soon!
