I can’t believe it has been a while that I did not blog. I managed to complete two shawls for my sister in laws for Christmas and I changed the plan at the very last minute. I quit making the Debbie Bliss stripe scarf and started a another new popular shawl – Noro stripe shawl. They love the scarves and that made me very very happy! 🙂
Christmas is always loving, cozy and warm. All the family members gathered together having good time, eating food and opening gifts at Christmas eve. I received some awesome gifts that relate to my hobby – knitting~ I will try to take some photos of them before I fly back Malaysia.
My baby nephew is suppose to arrived by the 21st December but I guess he decided to take a longer nap in his mommy’s. After waiting impatiently for about 2 weeks, he finally arrived with a healthy weight of 9 lbs 15 oz! Wow, that is a big baby but he is definitely lovely and adorable! Gloria and Mike did not tell anyone the baby’s name until the 2nd day he is born. Elijah is his name and we all love it! I am so happy for Gloria and Mike! They are now proud parents! 🙂
I have been knitting everyday and I really try to finish the shawl that I am making now before I fly to another end of the earth. The process is good so far and I believe I need another 2 hours of knitting to get it done. This is an interesting shawl and I can’t wait to publish it. I assume it will be available for sale by the end of this month. I need to think of a good name for this interesting shawl! Naming is always a difficult task!
The first week of 2012 just passed. The idea of world ends at 2012 does not affect me much yet and I make some new year resolutions. I want to keep the momentum and designs more this year if possible I want to design a pullover or cardigan. Also, I want to jog more, jog better. Besides knitting, I really wish that I could start dyeing some yarn this year. I have been wanting to do this so badly for almost 2 years. I am such a bad procrastinator and I really should make this happen!
2011 has been a blessing year for me. It has been a productive, fruitful year. I want to say thank you to you all who follow this blog and also those who support my designs. I wish you all a very Happy New Year! Wish that the New Year brings joy, beautiful moments and surprises to cherish forever.
