I have added DyeForWool from ETSY into my favourite for quite some times and finally I bought 3 skein of sock yarn from them about two weeks ago. I picked a beautiful grey lilac colorway and also a deep turquoise (again, purple and green). The yarn arrived pretty quickly than I expected and they came all the way from Germany.
To be honest, I was expecting a more intense yarn color when I opened up the parcel. I can’t say they are not gorgeous but just that I thought the colorway would be more intense than the actual color. Anyway, they are soft and so squeezable. I squeeze and sniff and squeeze and sniff. The longer I lay eyes on them, the more I fall into them. I can already see them knitted up beautifully transformed into a shawl or scarf.
Let’s talk about my current project! I finally got on the turbo mode and knitted another 20 rows. So far I love the progress and I can’t wait to get to the part II of this shawl. At the same time, I have a special idea for this pattern and this will be revealed when the right time comes.
Today is such a beautiful day. It is neither too hot nor cold. I love the beautiful breeze and I was glad that I had a pleasant walk with some girl friends at the outlet mall. I will try to do more outdoor activities these 2 months before the crazy heat approaches. Hate the heat!!!
I love the DyeForWool yarn – looks gorgeous and your shawl, well , stunning!
Thanks Tina! =D
