I have so much fun interacting with all the Mystery KALers in Ravelry and I am glad to know that some knitters are actually enjoy making this shawl. Two clues were released and the 3rd one will be sent out this Friday.
If you can handle the 2nd Clue, the rest of the pattern will be easy to you. Now I am excited to see some finished objects by the end of this month. Talking about FO, I have finally picked out some prizes for the two awards for this Mystery KAL. The FIRST FO will win a skein of Saffron Dyeworks Enya in Pool water and a skein of The Plucky Knitter Merino Cashmere Nylon Fingering in Purple Haze. For the BEST FO, the knitter will win a skein of Wollmeise WD Versuch 100%, a skein of the Sundara merino fingering Storm studies and a skein of The Plucky Knitter Silk Merino 50/50 Fingering in Headboard. If you are still quite behind the progress, I think you still have chance to catch up to win the prize since there are two more clues to be given away!
This mystery shawl is slowly revealing itself bit by bit. I love those fun twisted stitches and I believe I said this before; cable stitch is therapeutic to me and so does twisted stitch! I can see myself making another shawl that contains those fun twisted stitches again! I myself never participated any mystery KAL before and I don’t know if I have the time to do that soon or not but I am really interested in joining the Wollmeise Withdrawal Madness Month KAL. Seems like they are going to have a Cardigan KAL and I probably will join.
Time passes by way too fast this year and it is already mid July. How much I wish I can attend the KnitNation at London so I could see some interesting people and shop for some delicious yarn. Too bad not this year. Can I actually go for next year KnitNation? I will have to plan for it. That will be cool for me to have a reunion with my girl friends at Glasgow after or before the KnitNation AND head to Germany for some Wollmeise shopping. Well, it sounds too much like a dream and it is definitely too good to be true!
Knit Nation was awesome (and they had Woolmeise there…) It might not happen next year, because of the Olympics, but I hope so!
