Carlina

Carlina thistle is a beautiful flower and I really like Carlina this name very much! I pick this name for my new designed shawl and I enjoy making this shawl a lot.

Carlina is a simple elegant rectangular shawl that knitted with a skein of Sundara fingering merino in colorway of Island Breeze. I managed to make a 12″ x 65″ light weight lace weight out of this 100gm fingering weight yarn. It did not take me too long to finish this shawl and I really had fun seeing how this shawl grew in time. It is a very easy knit but the pattern keeps the interest and fun going throughout the whole shawl. I did not feel bored at all making this textural shawl.

The weather is superb today, between 75-85F and it is only 72F now with some lovely breeze! Texas weather is always crazy and I know the temperature will only go down probably at the end of September. I really can see myself wearing Carlina once the Falls approaches.

Carlina is now available for sales at Ravelry and I think it is an ideal pattern for Christmas gift knitting. This pattern is on sales for 4usd. Like most of my patterns, there are full chart and written instruction provided in the pattern. 🙂
